While I was working toward my doctorate at the George Washington University, I also worked at Booz, Allen & Hamilton. It was a wonderful introduction to the world of management consulting.
Fast forward. This past weekend I worked with a client at the Aspen Meadows Resort, home of The Aspen Institute. Our meeting was held in the Booz, Allen & Hamilton room. It felt like a full circle experience for me.
On the walls were quotes from each of the firm’s namesakes. Their genius was reflected in how timely yet timeless their perspectives were. Even today their words align nicely with our approach to healthy leadership where values, listening and growth are foundational elements.
