Here we go again!
I frequently tell my clients that no trend goes on forever. My mom used to say, “This too shall pass.” Both phrases keep us humble when we are at the peak and hopeful when we are in the valley.
In December of 2008, I wrote a manifesto titled “Here We Go Again: Leading in Tough Times.” Although business is still good for most industries, if our clients are any indication, leaders across industries want to proactively manage their businesses for any scenario.
I am pleased to say that our clients who applied the principles from this manifesto predictably emerged stronger than ever as they climbed out of the valley to the next peak.
