People can interpret centered in a lot of ways. I believe centered means being spiritually focused and that foundation builds the best anything, including an organization.
Being centered provides calm in the storm, willing accountability, and stability for the team.
My father impressed on all of us to seek the person and purpose that God wants us to be. To me, in business, that translates to being authentic and genuine in all that you do.
