We have been blessed with the opportunity to serve hundreds of CEOs since we started our leadership advisory business.

Our clients lead Fortune 1000 enterprises, mid-market companies, and smaller, growth businesses.

We continue to grow with them and learn from them. So, in this new series, we will share the best leadership advice that one of our CEO clients has received.

Today we will feature Stephen Slaughter, CEO, Abrazo Acquisition Group.

I continue returning to a bible verse in James that I have constantly on my mind, James 1:2-3.

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, [a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that testing your faith produces perseverance.

2 Hermanos míos, tened por sumo gozo cuando os halléis en diversas pruebas, 3 sabiendo que la prueba de vuestra fe produce paciencia.

My English-Spanish Bible uses patience instead of perseverance, and I love both versions. We must persevere and also be patient with the process and our teams. Additionally, it helps others as they see joy in the midst of challenges or difficult times, and I pray that it flows through to our team and others.

The best leadership advice I have received is from Brother James.
